As Of Counsel to Silverman Theologou, Ms. Theologou offers guidance and support across various legal domains, including bankruptcy, creditor’s rights and commercial and consumer collections.

Admitted to the bar in 1999, she has represented various clients from major corporations to financial institutions, including credit unions and banks. Her legal expertise spans the full spectrum of civil litigation, encompassing mediation, arbitration, motions practice, pretrial and trial management and post-judgment collections. Furthermore, she adeptly represents creditors and secured lenders in bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring efforts.

Ms. Theologou currently holds the position of Managing Attorney at the Mid-Atlantic office of McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC, specializing in a broad range of real estate foreclosure issues. Before her association with Silverman Theologou LLP, Ms. Theologou was a Managing Attorney at McCabe, Weisberg & Conway, LLC, focusing on foreclosure within the Mid-Atlantic region. Her bankruptcy experience is comprehensive, having clerked for a bankruptcy judge, represented a Chapter 7 trustee and handled creditor cases in liquidation and reorganization contexts.

Ms. Theologou is a member of both the Maryland State Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association. She is authorized to practice in Maryland, Virginia, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Northwest Missouri State University and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Kansas School of Law. Her clerkships include positions with judges at the State of Kansas Court of Appeals and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas.

Among her accolades, Ms. Theologou has received the American Bankruptcy Institute Award of Excellence and has served as Treasurer and Secretary of the MSBA Bankruptcy Section. She is also a seasoned Continuing Legal Education faculty member, contributing to numerous seminars.
