Douglas Blecki, Esq.

Partner and Director of East Coast Operations

Mr. Blecki is a partner and the director of east coast operations of the law firm of Silverman Theologou, LLP.

Mr. Blecki handles a wide range of matters for our construction material supply clients. Specifically, his work for these clients focuses on the negotiation and resolution of secured commercial debt disputes and the filing of mechanic’s lien and payment bond claims. Mr. Blecki also litigates and oversees collection matters for our credit union clients. Additionally, Mr. Blecki has extensive experience navigating creditors through various bankruptcy matters for our clients.

Prior to joining Silverman Theologou, Mr. Blecki worked as an associate at DunlapWeaver, PLLC, where he handled a wide variety of matters for his small business clients. His practice included work on transactional, intellectual property (copyright and trademark) and commercial litigation matters. Mr. Blecki assisted many small and medium sized businesses with several facets of their operations, including corporate formations, dissolutions, asset transfers, in addition to his work drafting agreements and responding to general legal questions the companies had.

Mr. Blecki has also served as a clerk for the honorable Crystal Dixon Mittelstaedt in Prince George’s County, Maryland, as well as a clerk at the United States Department of Justice. Mr. Blecki hails from South Florida. He graduated from the Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law.  Mr. Blecki is admitted to practice before the courts in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida and the US District Court for the District of Maryland, US District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, US District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida and Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western District of Virginia.
